No stranger to the stage, Natasha has collaborated and created over 20 dance works for live performance. As the founder, artistic director, and choreographer for her company HOLLA JAZZ, she created the award-winning show FLOOR’D - the company’s first full-length production, presenting historical jazz dances in a new light. The production was nominated for 4 Dora Mavor Moore Awards (including Outstanding Original Choreography by Powell, and Outstanding Production) winner of the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble, and named one of top 10 dance shows of the recent decade by NOW Magazine.

Inspired by social dances such as jazz, hip hop, and house dance, Natasha shares her love for movement through teaching dance classes and workshops in Toronto and across Canada. She helps individuals find their personal groove, make breakthroughs in their dancing, and ultimately experience joy in their bodies.

Natasha is an experienced producer for live dance performance. Before producing her own company’s show FLOOR’D, she worked at the Dance Umbrella of Ontario as the Manager of Producing and Administration, and gained invaluable experience as the Metcalf Foundation Arts Management Intern with Peggy Baker Dance Projects and Volcano Theatre.

Natasha is a graduate of George Brown College with a Diploma in Business Administration Accounting and is grateful to continue sharing her passion for dance as a choreographer, teacher, and producer.

Testimonials:

“Natasha seeps groove out of her every pore. She created such an incredible space for every level of dancer to feel comfortable and have a lot of fun. Coming in with quite a bit of training, I found it very grounding to go back to the basics of some of the original jazz moves and music. It was a lovely place to spend a Saturday afternoon and would recommend her workshop to anyone who wants to find their groove!"
